Police are appealing for information following a collision on Greengate Street, Barrow

Officers were called by North West Ambulance Service at 7:07am today (Feb 16)

The collision involved a Ford Transit and motorcycle.

The driver of the Ford a man in his 40s from Barrow was uninjured.

The rider of the motorcycle a man in his 60s from Barrow was airlifted to Preston Hospital with injuries described as serious.
