Police appeal for information following collision on A591

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision on the A591 at the pass of Dunmail Raise on Wednesday 10th August at around 7:50pm.

A 89-year-old man, the driver of a red Honda civic was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary with life threatening injuries.

No other persons were injured during the collision.

Officers would like to speak to a group of motorcyclists who were in the area at the time of the collision or any witnesses who may have seen the incident or turned up immediately after.
