Man charged with drug supply

A man from Kendal has been charged with drug supply offences. James Humber, 49, of Cross lane, Kendal has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and being in possession of criminal property. He is to appear at Barrow’s magistrates’ court today (Feb 2)

Flood defences update for Kendal

Cumbria County Council is updating residents in Kendal about recent works within the Flood Defence Infrastructure project. A total of £395,000 has been invested into Carus Green; £270,000 from the developer, Genesis Homes, £60,000 from the Department for Transport Challenge Fund, and £65 Grant in Aid through the Environment Agency.
