At 16.23 on 3rd February 2023, three fire engines attended an incident on Leicester street, Barrow-in-Furness. The fire involved the kitchen of a domestic property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one thermal imaging camera and one positive pressure ventilation fan. Crews were detained approximately fifty minutes.

Police are investigating criminal damage to a building on The Promenade at Arnside, where windows to a building were smashed. The damage occurred between 26th and 29th January.
