Monday 15 January: After a frosty start, Monday will be largely dry with plenty of winter sunshine. However, brace yourselves for the cold, especially if you’re along the coast exposed to the brisk northerly breeze. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 3 °C.

As we move into the evening, expect clear skies, but there’s an increasing chance of wintry showers overnight. These showers may become heavier later, resulting in a covering of snow and icy conditions in some areas. It will be widely frosty, with a minimum temperature of -4 °C.
