On the show with Gilli Goodfellow, Diane Smillie from Dignity in Dementia is back with another of Di’s Helpful Hints for family carers.
This week she is talking about holidays. Although it can be hard to take a person living with dementia on holiday, it is still a valuable thing to do and Di gives some helpful hints as to how carers can help their loved one to manage the idea of going on holiday and how you can make the holiday itself a little less stressful by including routines in the day that the person living with dementia is used to.
