Margaret Burrows MBE has been awarded the honorary award as Freewoman of the Borough in a ceremony at Barrow Town Hall.
Margaret, the honorary CEO of Barrow & District Disability Association, was presented with the Freedom Scroll, the highest honour in the Borough, in recognition of her tireless work on behalf of disabled people, their carers and families
Invited guests and members of the council and were in attendance.
