Officers are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on the A590 westbound.

Emergency services were contacted at 6:15am today (Oct 12) to the report of a collision involving two HGVs.

A man in his 60s was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The A590 westbound between junction 36 and Brettargh Holt remains closed whilst recovery takes place.
