A man from Durham has been charged with a number of offences following an incident at 3am on 6 April on the A590 at Greenodd roundabout.
Gavin Aldworth, 38, of St Marks Court, Bishop Auckland has been charged with robbery, common assault on an emergency worker and aggravated vehicle taking.
He will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates tomorrow 8 April 2023.
