Local independent record label – Seahouse Media CIC / Seahouse Records who are putting on an event on Sunday 10th September at the Nan Tait Centre, Barrow 2-5pm
Grant funded by Barrowful, HeadSpace is an afternoon session of songwriters, performance and discussion about the relationship between mental health and creativity and performance.
Songwriters Matt Kassell, Jonny Swift, Jamie Bosanko and Mark Preston will perform their own songs and explain the meaning and craft behind the songs.
Material has been chosen especially to highlight the relationship between music creation, performance and mental health, from both positive and negative perspectives. The event will be covering topics cover such topics as nerves / stage fright, anxiety, mindset, paranoia and confidence, all common struggles amongst creative people.
