Following new lines of enquiry police are appealing for witnesses in a reported racially aggravated assault that occurred in the early hours of Saturday 9th October at a bar Broadway, Cavendish Street.

The incident involved a 33-year-old man and three other men in the bar.

The 33-year-old local man, received injuries including a cut and bruising to his nose from one male.

Racially aggravated verbal threats were also made to the 33-year-old man. This incident involved the four men.  

Police are seeking any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information.
