Police are investigating a report of dangerous driving on the M6 northbound between junction 34 and junction 36, where a car has been reported as travelling at high speed, tailgating other road users and undertaking on the hard shoulder.

The incident was reported to have occurred on Friday 11th November 2022 at around 11:30am to 12:10pm.

A blue Ford Focus, registration GL54UVY was stopped, and the 45-year-old driver from Glasgow was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and dangerous driving. He has since been released on police bail whilst officers continue with their enquiries.

Officers are looking to hear from anyone who has dash camera footage of the driving or has witnessed the driving.
