Local Appeal – 28 December 2022
Police are appealing for information in an assault investigation. The reported incident occurred around 10:50am Friday 23rd December, on Harrison Street, Barrow, close to the junction with Dalton Road. The reported incident involved two men.
A 31-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of Assault occasioning Grievous Bodily Harm. he has since been released under investigation.
A 76-year-old local man requiring treatment at Furness General Hospital for an injury to his neck. He has since been discharged.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone with information, including motorists with dash-cam who may have driven on Harrison Street, between 10:45am and 11:15am on the 23rd December, to make contact.
