Police are investigating an incident of assault that has occurred on Cavandish Street in Barrow-In-Furness on Saturday 27th April at 4:11am.

The incident involved two men and a woman.

The victim a 26-year-old man suffered injuries to his face as a result of the incident.

A 24-year-old woman from Barrow has been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated assault and has been released on bail whilst the investigation continues.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and are wanting to speak with a male who was also involved. This male is described at wearing all black with red/orange trainers.
