Police are investigating a case of common assault that occurred on 6 December 2023 at around 3:30pm at Esso Mountbarrow, Ulverston.

The incident took place between two women in the station and on the forecourt.

It has been alleged that the suspect, a 40-50 year old woman, shouted towards the victim and displayed body language that was deemed to be threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
