Police are appealing for information following a burglary at the Salvation Army, Walney Road, Barrow.

The burglary is believed to have taken place between the 6 July when the store was locked up for the weekend at 5:30pm and 8th of July at 8am when staff have returned to the store.

It is believed that someone has forced entry to the store, which was secure and has taken cash from a safe.
