Police are investigating an assault which took place in the Ormsgill Inn, Barrow, on Friday 22 March at 11:45pm.

During the incident a man in his 60s was assaulted by a young male, believed to be in his 20s, causing serious injury to his face.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone with any information relating to the incident.
