Police are investigating an assault which left a man with a broken jaw.

The incident took place in Windermere on Elleray Road near to the junction of the A591 on Tuesday 18 July at around 11:15pm.

The incident involved two men.

Officers would like to talk to a dog walker who was seen in the area at the time who is described as a white male with short hair wearing a dark jacket, jeans and white trainers walking a small terrier type dog.
