On 2 January 2023 a woman is alleged to have been assaulted by another woman hit her in the face, leaving her with facial injuries.

The incident occurred on the junction of Poplar Grove and Hart street in Ulverston at around 4.30pm.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and are particularly keen to hear from a man walking his dog.
