Police are investigating an incident where a man has been assaulted resulting in a serious injury.
The incident took place at approximately midnight on yesterday (April 26) at the top of Finkle Street, around the area of “The Birdcage” in Kendal.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and is still in custody at present.
