Police are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop collision in Dalton.

The collision occurred at approximately 7:30pm yesterday (27 November) on Market Street where a dark-coloured vehicle collided with a bollard.

The vehicle is believed to have made off on a route passing Chapel Street, Station Road, Nelson Street, Newton Road, Ruskin Avenue and Dalton Fields Lane.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed a vehicle driving erratically in the area, at the time, to make contact with them.
