Four arrested as part of burglary investigation

Four men arrested as part of an investigation into a burglary that occurred in the early hours of today (Jan 23) at a property on Rothay Road, Ambleside.

Officers were called at 2:37am to the report where entry was forced to the property.

The suspect(s) were disturbed by the occupant and left the area in a vehicle.

Officers located the vehicle shortly after and arrested four men on suspicion of burglary

  • A 21-year-old man from no fixed address
  • A 20-year-old man from Wigan
  • A 33-year-old man from St Helens
  • A 20-year-old man from Wigan

All four remain in police custody.
