At 21:29 hours on 2nd September 2021, two fire engines and a water bowser and support pump attended an incident on Horse Close Lane, Ulverston. The fire involved large fire in the open measuring approximately thirty metres by twenty metres. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and one main jet to extinguish the fire. Fire service remained at scene for three hours and fifteen minutes.
