At 15:56 on 28th September 2022, two fire engines attended an incident on Buccleuch Street, Barrow-in-Furness. The fire involved a mid terraced commercial property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and a carbon dioxide extinguisher to extinguish the fire. Crews administered oxygen therapy to one casualty and were detained approximately forty minutes.
