Access to our recycling banks will be disrupted on the weekend of Saturday April 1 and Sunday April 2.

The switch to a new contractor means that banks will be removed, the sites swept and cleaned and new banks installed over that weekend.

The schedule (subject to change) is:
Saturday – Morrisons Kendal; Asda Kendal; Black Dyke Road, Arnside; Sedbergh (Spar); Foxfield Road, Broughton; Priory Road, Ulverston; Alec Row car park, Staveley; Cark railway station; Spar shop car park, Sedbergh; main car park, Hawkshead; Lake Road, Coniston.
Sunday – Booths, Kirby Lonsdale; Broad Street, Windermere: Berners Close, Grange; Park Road car park, Milnthorpe; Dent car park.

Our advice is to plan to avoid using the bring sites on their scheduled day.

All materials which can be left at bring sites can be taken to the nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre.

Or you may wish to keep the materials until the bring site is open or consider if any of it is suitable for domestic kerbside collection.
