Barrow residents are invited to BAE Systems engagement events focusing on the planned Devonshire Dock Hall (DDH) recladding project.

DDH – the landmark facility on BAE Systems’ Barrow submarines site – was opened in 1986. The proposed work, subject to planning permission, will replace the existing roof and side elevation cladding as well as windows and doors.

Two drop in events have been arranged; taking place on Friday, 12 April, 1-3pm, at the Careers Inspiration Hub in Portland Walk, Barrow, and on Tuesday, 16 April, at Barrow Island Community Primary School starting at 6pm and lasting around two hours.
