Police are investigating an assault at Longway, Barrow.
It took place at about 4pm yesterday (Sunday July 3).
It is believed three people, all male, were involved – one on a bicycle.
The assault took place on the street. It is alleged one man kicked another man, aged in his twenties, to the head and body, causing serious but not life-threatening injury. The injured man was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
A man, 22, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody.
