Police are concerned for the welfare of a man missing from Gwent, Wales, and believed to be in Cumbria.

Richard Miles, 44, was reported as being seen in the Wasdale area on Saturday (2nd July).

Richard was last seen wearing a grey baseball cap, grey short sleeve t shirt and long black shorts.

Richard is known to hike and may be in the Scarfell Pike area. He could also be hiking at a different location.

Anyone with information on Richard’s whereabouts is asked to call police on 101.

Police would also ask Richard, if he sees this appeal, to contact police on the above number to let them know he is safe and well.
