Police are investigating a burglary which occurred at approximately 12:30am on Saturday 16 July at a cafe in Waterhead, Ambleside.

A safe and cash were stolen during the incident.

The suspect is described as wearing all black clothing with white trainers and upon leaving the café, was carrying a light-coloured fabric shoulder bag.

Police are looking for any witnesses who may have been in Waterhead around that time and for any vehicles with dashcam fitted to check the footage around the time of the offence for anyone matching the description.
