Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of theft from a vehicle that occurred at around 12:00pm today (March 1) on Main Street, Grange Over Sands.

During the incident a male has force entry and gained access to the rear of a van stopped at traffic lights close to the golf club, the van has continued its journey before stopping. The male has exited the van taking items from within which include cigarettes.

The male has then got into a white van driven by another male. The van has then reversed along main street causing damage to multiple vehicles and headed in the direction of Allithwaite.
