At 20:42 on 7th September 2022, two fire engines attended a building fire on Witham Walk, Barrow-in-Furness. The fire involved a kitchen in a domestic property, the fire was extinguished using three breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation fan. One casualty suffering smoke inhalation was passed to the care of ambulance crews. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately forty-five minutes.
