At 16:41 on 9th of February 2023 two fire engines attended a road traffic collision on Devonshire Road, Barrow-In-Furness. Firefighters used a reciprocating saw to extricate one casualty form vehicle. The casualty was left in a care of NWAS. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.

At 14:26 hours on 9th of February two fire engines attended a road traffic collision on Park Road, Barrow-In-Furness. Firefighters used cutting gear to extricate one casualty from a vehicle and an environmental spill pack to make the scene safe. Three casualties were assessed on scene by NWAS and conveyed to hospital. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
