At 14:50 on 30th January 2022, two fire engines attended an incident on Coast Road, Baycliff. The road traffic collision involved one vehicle that left the roadway. Firefighters used high pressure airbags and a bariatric kit to extricate one casualty from the vehicle. The casualty was then handed into the care of north west ambulance service. Crews were detained approximately fifty minutes.
