Road Traffic Collision, Broughton-in-Furness (South Lakeland)

At 07:22 on 20th April 2020 three fire engines attended a road traffic collision involving a heavy goods vehicle on Foxfield, Broughton-in-Furness. One person was released by fire service using cutting equipment and taken to hospital by ambulance crews. Fire fighters were in attendance for forty minutes.

Building Fire, Cartmel (South Lakeland)

At 15:39 on the 20th April 2021, four fire engines attended a house fire at Pitt garth, Haggs Lane, Cartmel. The fire involved the roof and eaves of a house and crews used a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera, and a ceiling hook to extinguish the fire. Crews remained on scene for approximately two hours.
