Cumbria Constabulary Local Appeals – Public order incident in the area of Crellin Street

 

Police are currently investigating an incident of public order that occurred in the area of Crellin Street, at around 9pm on Monday the 7th of June.

It was reported that a large group of men were seen fighting in the street, leading to several people being assaulted. The incident is believed to have lots of witnesses.
No serious injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
A 32-year-old man from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released under investigation.

The Constabulary would like to thank members of the public for the information provided thus far.

Officers are still keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, took photos or footage and who may be able to identify anyone involved.
