2021 is shaping up to be an exciting and fruitful time with CANDOFM now on the verge of radio broadcast around the Ulverston locality.

Over recent weeks positive talks emerged with an agreement with Ulverston Hospice to allow a transmitter to be sited on the outskirts of their land. A partnership with the Hospice will involve CANDOFM promoting fund raising activities and helping at events.

With the mast now in place, the award winning community radio station  will run test broadcasts with the live transmission operating over the coming days.

CANDOFM boasts upwards of 50 volunteers who support the station with administration, training and presenting and this exciting new add on to the popular barrow based operation as a huge step forward for all involved.

More fantastic developments are also set for later on in 2021 with the anticipation of the station gaining DAB which will further boost the listening area to around the BAY.
