CandoFM, the award winning local community radio station is delighted to announce the appointment of two exceptional individuals as Youth Workers. Emma Howarth and Rebecca Williams will join the CandoFM team and spearhead an exciting initiative to establish radio clubs directly within local schools and Youth Clubs. 

Radio clubs present an incredible opportunity for young individuals to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of broadcasting. With the addition of Emma and Rebecca to the CandoFM team, students from across the Furness area will have the chance to explore the thrilling aspects of radio firsthand.

At CandoFM, we firmly believe that radio clubs transcend mere entertainment. They serve as transformative platforms that foster personal growth, cultivate essential skills, and instill confidence. Through active participation in radio clubs, children will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, refine their communication abilities, and unleash their creativity. Emma and Rebecca will expertly guide them through the entire show creation process, from comprehensive research to seamless production.

By engaging in radio clubs, students will unlock a diverse range of valuable skills that extend beyond radio broadcasting. They will develop effective communication techniques, enhance their public speaking prowess, and nurture their creativity. Collaboration and teamwork will be at the heart of their journey, allowing them to grasp the power of collective effort and the importance of supporting one another.
