CANCELLED Apple Day at Ford Park

Jill Salmon, Chief Executive of Ford Park Community Group, said: “Sadly we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel Apple Day this year.

“Although we were expecting poor weather this Saturday, unfortunately the weather has turned for the worse, with winds of up to 36 mph forecast, which is unsafe for us to erect gazebos, and we are very reluctant to host the event indoors due to Covid.

“We are sorry to disappoint everyone. Apple Day is an important fundraiser for the charity, as well as a much-loved community event. We will aim for an apple extravaganza next year!”
