Emergency services are dealing with a serious road traffic collision on Blake Street in Barrow.

Police were called today (3 November) at 1:36pm following a collision where a van has collided with a pedestrian.

Blake Street is closed between Holker Street and Hartington Street.

The road may be closed for some time. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

The pedestrian, an adult male, is in the care of ambulance staff.
