Barrow residents are invited to attend a public meeting Mon 3rd June 2024 from 6pm to 7.30pm, to discuss & become involved in shaping the future of the Barrow-in-Furness Town Twinning Association
Barrow Town Council are leading a project to form twinning arrangements with International partners, similar to the arrangements Dalton, Ulverston and hundreds of other UK Towns & Cities have with Towns and Cities from around the world.
The Twinning Association are now in position to invite residents of Barrow-in-Furness to play a key role in driving this project forward and have availability at Barrow Town Hall for up to 100 residents for an evening of discussion around this project and to invite feedback on how you would like to decide which Town(s) we look to partner with.
The Town Hall is wheelchair accessible and light refreshments will be provided free of charge. The meeting is open to Barrow residents that are registered on the electoral roll who are aged 18 and over. The ticketed event is limited to 100 participants, and free tickets can be found here.
