Two brothers have appeared in court charged with Class A drugs supply today (24 May) and been remanded in custody until their next court appearance in a month’s time.
Brad-Lee Dutton, 20, and Harrison Dutton, 18, of Barrow were both arrested after officers executed a warrant at their home address under the Misuse of Drugs Act in Barrow yesterday (23 May).
The pair were subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
They were put before Barrow Magistrates’ Court this morning and remanded until their next court appearance – on 20 June at Preston Crown Court.
Detective Constable Benson said: “Where we receive intelligence of criminality in our community – particularly where that information relates to allegations of Class A drug supply – action will be taken.
“We continue to encourage anyone with suspicions that illegal activity is taking place in their community to come forward so that intelligence can be logged, ready to be acted upon by our officers.”
