Appeal for witnesses following collision involving a pedestrian

Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage as officers investigate a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Friday 24 November.

The collision occurred on Duke Street, Barrow at around 10:25am.

It was reported that a woman her 80s had been struck by an orange/red Citroën C1.

The pedestrian has bee taken to hospital via air ambulance with suspected multiple injuries.

The driver has been identified and is assisting with enquiries.

Police are keen to hear from any witnesses and/or anyone who has dashcam footage which may assist the investigation.
