Police were called at 2:41pm yesterday (Feb 9) to the report of a two vehicle road traffic collision on Park Road, Barrow.

The collision involved a Citron C1 and Nissan Qashqai.

The driver of the Nissan a woman in her 60s was taken to Furness general Hospital with minor injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle a woman in her 90s was taken to Preston Hospital via Air Ambulance with serious injuries. Another passenger a male in his 90s was taken to Furness General Hospital with chest injuries.

The driver of the Citron was uninjured.
