Local celebrity and ‘Legend in his own brewtime’ Pete Murphy has presented our Breakfast Show here on Cando since Nov 2018. Pete has been singing and entertaining all over Barrow and the surrounding area for over 25 years and was Breakfast Show host on the hugely popular local station AbbeyFM a few years ago.

Pete’s a devoted Dad to his two kids Millie and Daniel. He is a passionate Barrowvian, calling himself The best type of Barrow lad – A Barrow Island lad. He’s been a director at Barrow Raiders for many years and is committed to the promotion and success of local sport in Furness.
