Character of service

 CandoFM provides a music-led, local service tailored for people and community of Barrow-in-Furness. The station is aimed at the 16 – 40 age range and offers opportunities for community participation, learning, training, volunteering and a social voice.

Programming:

Music is scheduled in a balanced way, with no particular genre dominating output. There is at least 25% speech during daytime and evening output across the week.

The station broadcasts 60 hours of content each week. The majority of programming is locally produced; with the exception of the following…

News Bulletin Schedule:

CandoFM broadcasts a mix of local & national news each hour Monday to Friday 24 hours a day with an extended news roundup bulletin at 6:00pm on Friday evening which features a mixture of local and national news.

On a Saturday & Sunday local news bulletins feature from 8:30am until 1:30pm with the Sky news service every hour with the exception of Sunday between 16:00 and 19:00
